Information about the student records we hold

The Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA) collects your personal information to process your application for access to student records. If you do not provide your personal information, then TEQSA will not be able to process your request.

Document verification

In assessing your request, TEQSA will use the Australian Department of Home Affairs’ document verification service (DVS), with the assistance of GreenID. By proceeding with your request, you consent to TEQSA doing so. The DVS will check the contents of any documents you submit for verification with the issuer of the document or official record holder.

Universal Student Identifier

By providing your Universal Student Identifier (USI):

• you consent to TEQSA collecting and using it to process your request,
• you also consent to TEQSA disclosing your USI to the Student Identifiers Registrar (and the Registrar’s staff) if TEQSA decides that it needs to do so to process your request.
